Become a Pickup Point Host
Our partners are vital to the GoZERO mission. Hosting is designed to be low-effort: you provide a welcoming, publicly accessible pickup area, and GoZERO handles ordering, payments, customer service, logistics, materials, and promotions. If you have a publicly accessible retail space or common area, we would love to hear from you.
Program Overview
As a Community Compost Consignment Pickup Point, your organization helps expand access to locally produced, food-scrap compost. GoZERO handles the back end tasks such as ordering, payments, delivery, and customer support. With your assistance on-site, GoZERO does the heavy lifting. Your role is to provide a welcoming location for community members to pick up their pre-ordered compost bags, field questions when possible, or direct concerns to us. In appreciation for your partnership, GoZERO returns 10% of all compost sales made through your pickup point back to your organization through a credit on your ongoing services or charitable donation.
Host benefits
10% of all sales from your pickup point returned to your organization.
Sustainability recognition in program materials and outreach.
Minimal workload (no inventory purchase, no POS required).
Real local impact: expand access to nutrient-rich compost and close the loop on food waste.
Host responsibilities
Provide a publicly accessible pickup area during normal business hours (or agreed window).
Receive and store ordered bags, then hand off pre-purchased compost to customers.
Optional: participate in seasonal events like GoZERO’s spring sale, Tour de Compost.
